Ph.D Realda Abdija

Realda ABDIJA is a historian, exhibition curator and art critic. She completed his higher university studies outside Albania.

In 2008, she graduated from the “Art, Music and Performance Discipline” branch in Padua, Italy. In 2015 he defended the 2-year Master’s title in the “History of Art” branch and in 2021 the title of Doctor of Sciences on the topic “Albanian Art at the Venice Biennale from 1997-2017”, at La Sapienza University of Rome, Italy.

She collaborated with the “L’opera” Gallery in Rome, where she curated two exhibitions “Prometheus” by Dino Pedriali and “Anthology 1960-2014” by Santo Alligo.

In addition to university and postgraduate studies, she is the author of the scientific study “The last gesture, to stop the memory” in the work of Adrian Paci published in “In Corso D’opera”, scientific research of doctoral students of La Sapienza University.

She has been an active participant in a number of international conferences during her studies and in 2021 she curated the exhibition entitled “Bunkeri nën tuma”, in Lezhë, Albania.
