Massimo SCARINGELLA is an independent curator of contemporary art and organizer of cultural events. During 40 years of activity in Italy and abroad, he has discovered and promoted many Italian and foreign artists, many of whom are already established on the international scene of contemporary art.
Since 2000, he has covered the contemporary art sector at the Italian Foreign Ministry, for the creation of the well-known collection "Collection of 20th century art in the Farnesina". He has curated and collaborated in over 250 contemporary art exhibitions in 40 countries around the world, being in direct contact with the local realities and different cultures of these countries. This has served him to create a bridge of exchange of artistic experiences between Italian contemporary art and the rest of the world, especially with artists from Latin America.
