  • The conceptual approach:

In an imaginary one-way dialogue, the artist asks an Artificial Intelligence chatbot 118 rhetorical questions addressed to the contemporary art system. There are 118, like the Italian Pronto Soccorso number, open questions, strictly unanswered, selected from the linguistic pattern, questions from the bottom up, almost to an oracle, to an enigmatic intangible entity. The questions that arise from the lack of opening a dialogue, towards an art system that very often builds invisible walls of the unsaid, indifference and marginalization. For this reason, already in the title "FAQ" we play with homophony with the word "Fuck". The questions therefore focus on existential, sociological, economic, work, philosophical and historical aspects, because they are related to success, fame, the art market and the daily difficulties faced by young artists.
