Across civilizations
Mixed technique, 300 x 350 cm, 2024
The conceptual approach:
The work is conceived as a hybrid relationship between the real and the surreal, where physical truth meets truth created by artificial intelligence. The content of the image departs from the stereotype of a classical figural composition, as within an almost theatrical space of an artificial ecosystem of virtual trees and vegetation, multiple images appear one after the other of different sizes and above all, when viewed face to face, form a single image. The monumental work culminates with a small canvas on the surface of which is painted a dualistic portrait, placed in the center of the composition in the foreground, which within itself brings together two individuals fused to each other in a dreamy symbiosis. A symbiosis that reflects the transcendence of civilizations, from what we are today, to what awaits humanity tomorrow, with the unstoppable and unpredictable development of artificial intelligence. Truth and artificial aesthetics, which put the hybrid future of humanity on the edge of doubt.
